With an emphasis on project based learning and technology integration, the educators at Desert Heights Preparatory Academy instruct using the Arizona Common Core Standards. At all levels we approach instruction with a common goal for college and career readiness which provides an environment for higher level thinking.  Click here for more information regarding our curriculum.

Dress Code

DHPA has a primary objective of developing a community of learners, dedicated to the highest standards of academics and deportment. As such, a distinctive uniform is a unifying factor within our school community. It is also a visible signature of our school to the larger community, an indicator of our unity and of our pride of purpose. Click here to access the detailed policy.

Uniform Providers

We utilize multiple school uniform providers so parents have a choice when making decisions about their child’s needs. Please review the approved uniform and dress code policy in detail prior to making any purchases since not all uniform items must be purchased from the vendors. Click here for more information on the approved uniform providers.

Our students participate in a Monthly College Awareness Day (CAD), Weekly School Spirit Days and Three Spirit Weeks a year (Fall, Winter and Spring) with a focus on Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, and a Social Awareness Project (Childhood Cancer, SSBTR, etc.).
